John Mahas publishes in Journal of Economic Entomology

John Mahas, a current postdoc in the Nault lab, published an article titled “Trap design and pheromone lure type influence Helicoverpa zea (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) moth capture in sweet corn” in the July 2025 issue of Journal of Economic Entomology.

The study evaluated the influence of currently available trap designs, pheromone lures, and their combinations on corn earworm, Helicoverpa zea Boddie, moth captures across the eastern United States. Results are discussed and related to the current action thresholds for H. zea management in sweet corn. Join us in congratulating John!
